Subscriptions & Purchases

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. Find TEMPER in the list and tap Cancel Subscription. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

How do I restore my purchases?

Open TEMPER, go to Settings, and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe. Your subscription status will be restored automatically.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds are handled directly by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID to request a refund through Apple's standard process.

What's the difference between Free and Premium?

Free includes 3 habits with full tracking. Premium unlocks unlimited habits and supports independent development of the app. Premium is available as Monthly, Yearly with a 7-day free trial, or Lifetime.

Habits & Tracking

How do habits work in TEMPER?

You set habits to track daily. Check them off when completed. If you don't check a habit by midnight, it turns red — permanently. The mechanic exists for a reason: real accountability requires real consequences.

My streak disappeared. Can I recover it?

No. TEMPER is built on strict accountability. Missed habits turn red permanently. There are no streak freezes, no second chances, no retroactive editing. This is intentional.

Can I edit a habit after I've created it?

You can edit the name and reminder time of a habit. You cannot edit past completion records — what's done is done, what's missed is missed.

Can I use TEMPER on multiple devices?

Currently, TEMPER stores all data locally on your device. iCloud sync between devices is being considered for a future release.

Privacy & Data

Is my data private?

Yes. All your habit data is stored locally on your iPhone. We do not collect, sell, or share any personal data. Read the full Privacy Policy for details.

Do I need to create an account?

No. TEMPER works without any account. There is no email, no password, no login. Your data stays on your device.

Technical Issues

The app is showing a bug or crashing.

First, try restarting the app. If the issue persists, email us at contact@jointemper.com with your iPhone model, iOS version, and a description of the problem. We'll fix it as fast as possible.

Notifications aren't working.

Check that notifications are enabled for TEMPER in iOS Settings → Notifications → TEMPER. Make sure Allow Notifications is on, and check that Focus modes are not silencing them.

I uninstalled the app and lost my data.

TEMPER stores data locally. Uninstalling the app removes all habit data from your device. If you had iCloud backup enabled before uninstalling, your data may be restored when you reinstall the app.
